“Looking for someone to help you find that dream home? Look no farther, Roy Doskal is your guy! Not only does he set you up so that you can receive instant notification on new listings, but he also makes sure that you are not pressured in coming up with an uninformed decision, as you peruse through virtual or actual neighborhoods, looking for that “gem” that most likely will meet your requirements for an ideal home. Our experience with Roy (or as our kids fondly call him: “Secret Agent Roy”) was phenomenal. With his help, we studied the market; understood how comparable, recently sold homes factor into approximating the reasonable prices of “coming soon” homes. For each home that we were interested in looking at, Roy encouraged us to check the neighborhood first, thereby eliminating from our homes’ list those that did not make the first impression. This enabled us to wisely use our time, viewing only homes that more likely will appeal to us. While we were out there checking out homes, he would point to us possible issues in the house – structural, foundational, etc.; and even suggests possible improvements, which only shows that his wealth of knowledge goes beyond the home search or selling process. Our home viewing allowed us to enumerate the essentials of an ideal home, modifying our requirements as we saw homes for sale. With Roy’s help, we always had the “freshest” listings. In fact, that’s how we found our ideal home. One July afternoon, we refreshed the link that Roy sent us a week earlier, and this fresh list included this beautiful home, with all the essentials (5 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, large yard, brick, nice kitchen, 2 story plus a basement, cul-de-sac, etc.) that we were looking for. We tried to access the major realtor websites such as Zillow.com, Trulia, and others, but these websites were not yet showing this specific address. This means that Roy’s link had it first. We called our realtor and we discussed on how we can visit the home, before anyone else could view it. To make the long story short, we were at the house at 7:30PM, confirming what we already knew: this could be our home. We were the first to make an offer on the house and our offer got accepted! Then the unexpected happened right after house inspection: a tree in the backyard fell on the kitchen side of the home, breaking the beautiful window by the sink, and basically destroying the roof of our ideal home. This was when Roy showed more of his brilliance and negotiating skills. He helped us navigate through the entire negotiation process, made sure that the roof was replaced on time, the windows replaced… He had the sellers handle the issue on ventilation and slight mold, just so we can readily (and healthily) move in right after the closing. He also had them agree to refinish the floors before we moved in. Overall, Roy’s exceptional negotiating skills saved us $$$. His contacts (which we could say are vetted based on integrity) helped us with different questions ranging from tree-trimming, HVAC, sewer, molds, flooring, porch, windows, lighting, etc. In other words, Roy far exceeded our expectations… making it possible for us to have a great experience with our home-buying. Buying a home can be stressful but knowing that Roy is on our side, every step of the way, made our home buying experience fun after all. We will definitely recommend Roy’s services to those who would like to find that ideal home.”

There is tons of financial information that must be understood, tips and tricks for selling and staging your home, countless hours of searching for a home that has all your wants and needs, paperwork.... and more! Finding a realtor that can limit that stress by listening to your desires, providing knowledgeable expertise, offering professional advice and spending countless hours on your behalf is crucial! I highly recommend Roy Doskal because he was just that for our family. His advice and keen sense of the market helped sell our home FAST (it sold the 2nd day on the market)! His the time and energy spent in our house search was also instrumental in finding a home that we absolutely love! “I would definitely recommend Roy to anyone looking to buy or sell a house. After our initial meeting where we discussed what I was looking for in a house Roy sent me many different houses/condos based on the wide range of things I wanted in a residence. Because of my specific work hours there were only nights and weekends that I was able to go look. Roy was very accomodating to my availability. As we looked at different condos Roy continually altered the places he sent me based on the likes/dislikes I had with the homes we went to see. He was always paying attention to my needs and wants in a home. Roy was also very prompt on anything I needed. If I had questions or needed anything Roy always responded very quickly.
